Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
By attending the Hillsborough County Republican Committee Machine Gun Shoot ("the Event") at the Londonderry Fish & Game Club, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in or observation of firearm-related activities, including but not limited to:
- Discharge of firearms (including full-automatic weapons)
- Exposure to loud noise, concussive force, and flying debris
- Detonation of explosive targets (Tannerite)
- Contact with hot brass, firearms, and related equipment
- Uneven terrain, weather conditions, and outdoor hazards
You acknowledge that these activities are inherently dangerous and that injury, hearing damage, or death may result. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Hillsborough County Republican Committee, the Londonderry Fish & Game Club, all sponsors, vendors, volunteers, range officers, and their respective officers, members, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from your attendance or participation.
Safety Rules
All attendees must comply with the following safety rules at all times. Failure to follow these rules will result in immediate removal from the event.
- Eye and ear protection required in all range areas. Limited supplies may be available; bring your own.
- All firearms handling must follow Range Safety Officer (RSO) instructions at all times.
- Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot.
- Keep finger off the trigger until ready to fire and on target.
- All firearms must remain unloaded until at the firing line under RSO supervision.
- No personal firearms may be brought to the firing line unless explicitly authorized by event organizers.
- No alcohol or drug use before or during firearm handling.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
- Obey all cease-fire commands immediately and without exception.
- Stay behind the firing line at all times unless directed otherwise by an RSO.
General Terms of Attendance
- All attendees must sign a physical waiver at registration before entering the range areas.
- Photography and video are permitted in designated areas. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional use.
- The event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person at their sole discretion.
- No refunds on admission or ammunition purchases.
- Pets are not permitted in range areas.
- The event is held rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, the event may be postponed at the organizers' discretion.
